Martha May Shaub

Martha May Shaub died on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Lady Lake Specialty Care Center in Lady Lake, FL. She was 97 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late William Jacob and Ella M. Jones Hodges. Before moving to Florida she was a resident of Northeast Philadelphia.

Martha was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Church of the Resurrection Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Bristol, PA.

Martha was the beloved wife of Austin Edgar Shaub, Jr. before his death 28 years ago. She the devoted mother of Barbara Turner of The Villages, FL, the late Austin Edgar Shaub, III, and Ella May Shaub. She was the loving grandmother of Robert E Michie, Christine M. Marion; great grandmother of Robert Sean Michie, Kiersten Mary Michie, and Jody Martha Marion. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elva Ashton, Dorothy Vandergrift, and Florence Bergmann

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 14th from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Her service will be at 1 PM. The interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
