Michael William Mcshane, loving husband and father of two children, passed away on Sunday,
May 24, 2020 of natural causes at the age of 53.
Mike's happiest days were spending time with his family who he loved. He was a devoted and
loving husband to Stacie, always by her side. Their years shared together were filled with an
overabundance of sweet memories and love that will be cherished and dearly missed.
He was a loving and proud father to Luke and Lindsay. He instilled high morals, a strong work
ethic, and the importance of spending time together as a family. He was a steadfast fan of their
ball games, coaching their teams, videotaping their school music concerts, attending their chess
tournaments, enjoying times together at the beach and sharing in all aspects of their life. They
were blessed to have such a caring dad.
He worked as a Controller at Link Industrial Properties and prior to that at BET Investments. He
was hard-working and dedicated to his profession. He truly enjoyed the friendships he made at
work throughout his career.
Mike had an easy-going and fun way that made people easily warm up to him. He loved the
company of his family and friends, appreciating and valuing all of them. He had a passion and
enjoyment for the game of golf. He was a very talented golfer, playing since he was on his high
school golf team. He loved God and attended church regularly. He had a personal relationship
with Jesus and is now in His care. This gives us peace knowing we will one day all be together
again. We love and miss him more than words can truly express.
He was the beloved husband of Stacie (nee Terlecky). Loving father of Luke and Lindsay.
Dearest son of the late William McShane and Patrica McShane. Dear brother of Chris (Gina)
McShane, Daniel McShane, and Kevin McShane. Dear son-in-law of the late Stanley Terlecky
and Lois Terlecky and dear nephew of Kenneth Wilson. Michael is also survived by his nephews, uncles, aunts and many other family members. He loved the time he spent with each and every one of them, and he will be truly
missed.
Services will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at the Lamb Funeral Home at 1PM and burial at
2PM at Forest Hills. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only immediate family may attend.
In lieu of flowers, contribution accounts at www.ugift529.com are set up for Luke and Lindsay’s
College Savings Plan.
