Richard Allen Bross, Sr., age 87, passed away on August 9, 2021 at home in Gloucester City, NJ.

He was a longtime resident of Philadelphia. Richard was born on December 13, 1933 in Drexel Hill, PA to parents Michael Bross, Jr. and Myrtle Louise Bross (nee Cooper).

He is survived by sons Richard Jr. (Susann), John (Dee) and Matthew Cox (Christine) along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Friday, August 20th at 11 am. The service will be at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 5930 Rising Sun Avenue, corner of Rising Sun and Comly, 19120.

Private interment at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.

Memorial contributions in Richard's name can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
