Saramma studied at Christian College in Chengannur and married Koshy C. Kochuparambil on
January 18, 1982. Saramma arrived to Philadelphia in June 1984. They were blessed with 2 daughters Betsy and Blessy. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Family University in 1997 and served as a registered nurse for over 24 years.
Saramma, also lovingly called Ally, was a kind hearted, compassionate and gentle soul. Saramma was God-fearing, devoted Christian who was a dedicated member of the Marthoma church. Saramma’s calm demeanor and empathetic heart, led her to a successful career in nursing, with 21 years of experience at Einstein Medical Center.
She is survived by Koshy C. Kochuparambil (husband) from Tchachakunnu Vadaketchil Mulakuzha, Chengannur, daughters Betsy Desai and Blessy Koshy, son-in-law Kevin Desai, and grandchildren Aiden, Armin, and Aaron Desai. Her siblings are late K.C. Cherian, late Aleyamma Samuel, T.C. Koshy, K. C. Varghese,Annamma Varghese and Cheriyan Chacko. Lastly, her favorite grandpuppies, Bentley, Luigi, and Barklee.
