Susan Exley

Susan C. Exley died on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 62 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Barker Schneider. She had been a Trevose resident since 1972 and had previously lived in Feasterville.

Mrs. Exley was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Feasterville. Susan was active in the church’s Christian Education Ministry for over 30 years and was also active in the Bible Study group. She was also member of the Feasterville Christian Women’s Club.

Susan was very family oriented and loved spending time with her granddaughter. She enjoyed arts and crafts and making latch hook rugs

Susan was the beloved wife of William J. Exley for 42 years. She was the devoted mother of Karen Exley of Trevose. She was the loving grandmother of Nevaeh Exley. She is also survived by her brothers Eric Schneider (Jane) of Lancaster, Walt Schneider (Nancy) of Langhorne, and David Schneider (Lisa)of Lancaster and sister Beth Cunningham (Mellon) of North Whales. She is also survived by many Niece’s and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 from 9 to 11 AM at the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 65 E. Street Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Her service will follow at 11AM. The interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
