Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Herman and Esther Litner Klein. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Klein was a retired long time employee of Novelty Bookbinding and more recently, Independence Press in Philadelphia. He enjoyed playing cards and country music.
William was the beloved husband of Frances H. Matelyan Klein. They would have celebrated their 31st anniversary on August 19th. He was the devoted step-father of Shev Okumus (Michele). He was the loving Poppi of Kadir and Justin. He is also survived by his brother Robert Klein (Diane).
Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 5th at the Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
