William Wilson

Wilson, William J. age 87 was called home, on June 7, 2018. Born and raised in Philadelphia was son of Richard and Viola Wilson (nee Swartz). Bill was a very happy and talkative gentleman. He was very much like the “Ambassador of Princeton Street”. He loved baseball and politics and would talk your ears off about either. He enjoyed sunbathing for many years in Wildwood NJ and recently, simply in his back yard. Bill is survived by three sisters, Edith Thompson (Frederick), Lillian Wilson and Lois Lane. Loving Uncle of Diane Slubowski (Frank), Frederick Thompson (Tina), Robert Thompson (Donna) and Joni Renzi (Tony). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceasing Bill in addition to his parents was Violet Oblek. Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s viewing beginning at 10am, Tuesday March 12th followed by his funeral service at 11am. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Bill’s memory to a charity of your choice.
