Judy A. Risk, 72 of Roanoke passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Friday July 12, 2019 at her home in Roanoke. Judy was a 1964 graduate of Union High School. She worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years, 32 years at Hair Today in Fort Wayne. Judy enjoyed knitting, quilting and reading. She also loved to travel and ride in her convertible.
Judy was born on July 26, 1946 in Bluffton, IN, the daughter of Fred and Naomi (Yount) Foudy. Her parents preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Risk on October 14, 1967 in Huntington, IN. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Matthew Risk of Fort Wayne; a Daughter: Holly (Joe) Soria of Indianapolis; a grandson: P. Louis Soria of Indianapolis; and a sister: Pat (Bill) Quickery of Fort Wayne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Chaplain Michael Sprunger officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
