Becky Jean Norris, 77 of Huntington, passed away on Thursday evening, October 9, 2025 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Becky was a 1965 graduate of Northfield High School in Wabash. She was a homemaker and a "super" cook, who enjoyed making crafts and going to craft shows. Becky loved animals, especially caring for their several dogs over the years. She was an avid International Harvester enthusiast.
Becky was born on November 8, 1947 in Huntington, the daughter of the late Edward C. and Ruth B. (Blum) Urschel.
She was united in marriage to Alan D. Norris on November 18, 1967 in Huntington County. Alan survives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include a brother: Steve Urschel of New Haven; a sister: Nancy (Rick) Sloniker of Fort Wayne; three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by a nephew: Jason Sloniker.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to the Huntington County Humane Society in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
