Bradley K. Crawford

Bradley K. Crawford, 86 of Huntington passed away at 7:48 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Brad was a 1949 graduate of Hartford City High School. He had worked as a ticket agent and telegrapher for Wabash Railroad until 1949, Norfolk and Western Railroad until 1964 and was a sales representative with Norfolk and Southern Railroad from 1969 until his retirement. He was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne Transportation Club, Etna Acres Golf Club where he was president for several years and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #837 of Huntington. He loved IU and Viking basketball, was an avid golfer and had bowled for many years. Brad was born on November 8, 1931 in Hartford City, IN, the son of Ora and Mary (Lynas) Crawford. He was united in marriage to Phyllis (Jones) Fisher, he later married Anna Badger and she preceded him in death on January 29, 1999. Survivors include a daughter: Kathy (Ron) Carnes of Huntington; three sons: Douglas (Sue) Crawford of Wolcottville; Thomas (Amy) Crawford of Bell Brook, OH; David (Mary) Crawford of Twin Falls, Idaho; two brothers: Charles Crawford, Ora Crawford, Jr. both of Hartford City; 10 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ora and Mary Crawford, a brother: Robert Crawford, three sisters: Betty Schneider and two infant sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Bobby Kemp officiating. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Huntington County. Memorial donations can be made out to American Cancer Society in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
