Claude F Good

Claude F. Good, 74 of Huntington passed away at 9:45pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor. Claude was a 1959 graduate of Atwood High School in Atwood, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the 1st Cavalry, stationed in Korea. He worked in advertising sales for over 30 years at the Herald-Press, retiring in 2004. He also had worked as a type-set at the Times-Union Paper in Warsaw. He had attended Life Church.

Claude was born on November 1, 1939 in Goshen, Indiana, a son of Frank and Viola (Linn) Good.

He was united in marriage to Inez Y. Sechrist on December 8, 1962 in Atwood, Indiana. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a son: Eric (Amy) F. Good of Roanoke; a brother: Dallas Trine of Sawyer, MI; a sister: Penny Trine of Sawyer, MI and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Shellie Nave.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Mike Hill officiating.

Interment will take place at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
