Gary C. Richardson

Gary C. Richardson, 70 of Huntington passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Norwood’s Health & Rehabilitation Center. Gary had worked as a maintenance supervisor at United Technologies in Huntington; he later retired from the Lear Corporation in 2002. After retirement he worked part-time in maintenance for Senior Apartments and he drove the H.A.T. van for Huntington Area Transportation.

He was born on November 16, 1942 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Hubert Burton and Virginia Rose (Campbell) Richardson.

He was united in marriage to Patricia A. Burk on January 4, 2003 in Waynedale. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include two sons: Doug Richardson of LaPorte; Shawn Richardson of Fort Wayne; a sister: Rosalie (Gordon) Glanders of LaPorte and three grandchildren: Brittany Richardson, Nicholas Richardson and Eric Richardson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Mike Harris officiating.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.
