Gerald R. "Jerry" Tobin

Gerald R. “Jerry” Tobin, 75 of Huntington passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. Jerry served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He had worked for Buick Motor Division in Michigan, and later worked as a Teamster hauling cars in Indiana. Jerry enjoyed watching Nascar and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a huge Michigan football fan. Jerry was born on August 15, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Michael F. and Oneita E. (Harney) Tobin. He was united in marriage to Deborah Myers. Deborah survives. Additional survivors include two stepsons: Shane (Ginger) Fahrnow of Roanoke, Chad Kreider of Huntington; two grandchildren: Karigan (Josiah) Doctor and Drake (Taylor) Fahrnow both of Huntington. His parents preceded him in death. There will be no visitation or service. Graveside service will be held at a later date.
