Gloria J. Urschel

Gloria J. Urschel, 84 of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 5, 2025 at her residence. Gloria was a 1958 graduate of Huntington High School. She had work at Triad-Utrad/Magnetek for over 30 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Gloria was born on March 23, 1940 in Warsaw, Indiana, a daughter of the late Howard and Laura (King) Farber.

Her first marriage was to Gale B. McMahan. She later married Wilbur C. Urschel on November 9, 1990 in Huntington, he preceded her in death on October 17, 2010.

Survivors include three sons: Bruce (Patty) McMahan of Moscow, TN, Doug McMahan of Huntington and Brad McMahan of Huntington; a daughter: Lori (George) Holtrey of LaFontaine; three grandchildren: Nicole Nichols, Tyrel McMahan and Seth McMahan; two great grandchildren: Nathan Mcmahan, Zach McMahan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two granddaughters: Jennifer Holtrey and Christina Holtrey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 12:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
