Jane A. Leist, 60 of Huntington, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at her home. Jane had worked in advertising at the Herald Press newspaper in Huntington for 10 years. She later worked as an Interior Designer for 20 years until her retirement. Jane was a 1981 graduate of Huntington North High School. Jane loved her Border Collie dogs; along with her daughter, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed helping people through landscaping, cooking, and taking meals to friends and neighbors, anything she could do for others. Jane had a zest for life and brought a light to the room.
Jane was born on November 6, 1962 in Huntington a daughter of the late John D. and Juanita Ressie (Cleland) Hosler.
She was united in marriage to Jay Leist on September 4, 1999 in Tennessee. Jay survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Chloe Leist of Huntington; a stepson: Jason (Beth) Leist of Huntington; two brothers: Roger (Wanda) Hosler and David (Lavon) Hosler both of Huntington; and several nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Hosler.
There will be no public Visitation or Services.
