Kay F. Price

Kay F. Price, 89 of Huntington passed away on Thursday evening, March 7, 2024 at Tipton House in Huntington. Kay retired from Memcor after 16 years of service and later worked in the food service at Huntington North High School where she retired in 2014. She was a member of New Hope Church. Kay loved spending time with all of her grandchildren, who all lovingly called her “Honey”. She also enjoyed being with her beloved cat Zaynah. Kay was born on August 7, 1934 a daughter of the late Earnest “E” Willard Carroll and Dorothy Marie (Little) Carroll. She was united in marriage to Charles (Dick) Swank. He preceded her in death in 1980. She later married Marlin Price who also preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include: two daughters: Joni (Dick) Furnish of Huntington and Jennifer (Jim) Piatt of Milford, MI; one son: Michael (Christine) Schnitz of Huntington; seven grandchildren: Adam (Cassandra Fetter) Clark; Justin (Richelle) Clark; Bradley (Carlee) Schnitz; Alyssa (Ben) Conner; Drew (Allyson) Schnitz; Jonathan Piatt; Jillian (Samuel) Ward; nine great grandchildren; a sister; Janice (Rex) Solloway; one niece: Susan (Greg) Stroud; two nephews: Nick (Angie) Carroll and Chip Carroll. She was preceded in death by: a brother and a sister-in-law: Gene and Betty Carroll. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana. Memorial donations can be made out to Heartland Hospice or Jamie’s Legacy Cat Haven sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
