

Lucille May (Pleake) Myers, 80 formerly of Condit Street, Huntington passed away at 4:01 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Oak Brook Village Nursing Center. She was a graduate of Eminence High School in Eminence, Indiana. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and canning.
Lucille was born on May 13, 1931 in Morgan County, Indiana, a daughter of Daniel F. and Mary R. (Wilhite) Pleake.
She was united in marriage to Robert S. “Stanley” Myers on March 23, 1974 in Stilesville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1999.
Survivors include a daughter: Sharon Hobbs of Huntington; a brother: Daniel F. Pleake, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters: Maxine English of Bainbridge, IN; Lorene Oxley of Huntington; a grandson: Mitchell (Jacquline) Hobbs of Huntington; two great grandchildren: Kandi (Travis) Hale of Huntington; Tom Hobbs of Huntington and a great great granddaughter: Leah Hale, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers: Richard Pleake, Jewel Pleake, Lowell Pleake; two sisters: Helen Miller and Kathleen Wood and a son-in-law: Douglas Hobbs.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Interment will take place at a later date.
