Lynn “Buzz” Edward Robrock, was born on March 4, 1936. He was a lifetime resident of Union Township and a 1954 graduate of Union Township High School. Alzheimer’s Dementia stole him from us little by little before he passed away on February 6, 2022. He was 85 years old. As a young man, Lynn drove a grain truck for Simpson Grain Company. He served in the Indiana National Guard for eight years earning rank of Sergeant. He built a farming business that spanned 60+ years and a 35-year career selling Golden Harvest seed. Throughout his years, Lynn was an active member of the Church of Christ attending in Huntington, North Manchester and East Allen. He was a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, a girl dad. Lynn was a Christian, song leader, Sunday school teacher, and elder. An entrepreneur, philanthropist, mechanic, conservationist, chemist, meteorologist, sod buster…better known as a farmer. He loved to work. He was a fan of tractor pulls, hot rods, Mustangs, NASCAR, golf, and IU Basketball. He was a go-cart, Honda bike, Ford car/truck and International Harvester guy. A trip planner, navigator, RV driver-mechanic-dump station man, a 4-H leader, camp director, mentor, leader, disciplinarian, a housekeeper, cook, chauffer and loving caregiver, a man of impeccable integrity.
Lynn would say his best day was August 21, 1955, when he married Linda Sue Miller. They were married for 62 years. Together they raised seven children: Victoria Dalman, Jill Martin, Jan Akins, Kathy Tanner, Tammy (Phil) Conner, Tim (Sandra) Robrock and Laurie (Kevin) Wolfe. Lynn was grandpa to Javan Dalman, Jerica Bolinger, Jon Dalman, Jackie Reichard, Brittany Oden, Drew Akins, Jordan Reese, Aaron Bulmer, Matt Bulmer, Garrett Tanner, Luke Conner, Hannah Allen and Isaiah Wolfe, and great grandpa to Cruz and Jaida Bolinger, Logan and Addison Mock, Bryson Oden, Brynleigh and Lochlan Akins, Caroline Reese, Keegan and Macklyn Bulmer, Merritt and Bowie Allen. Also surviving is a brother: Greg (Marilyn) Robrock.
Meeting Lynn at the gates of Heaven are his wife Linda, son Tim, sister Mary Lou Wolf, nephew Gary Wolf and his parents Kenneth and Agnes (Ziegler) Robrock.
