

Marjorie L. Saulmon, 87, of Huntington passed away at 5:34 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Hickory Creek of Huntington. She was a 1941 graduate of Wabash High School. She enjoyed playing cards and scrabble, watching old TV shows and she also enjoyed playing the piano and drawing. She had lived most of her life in the Wabash area. During her years in Huntington she was well known for her laughter and fondness for teasing others.
She was born on October 27, 1923 in Indianapolis, a daughter of Dewey and Beulah (Schrader) Richardson.
She was united in marriage to James E. Saulmon on July 26, 1941 in Wabash. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1993.
Survivors include two daughters: Cheryl Swecker of Pulaski, VA; Rosemary (John) Wagner of Huntington; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sons: James D. Saulmon and Ross E. Saulmon, a half sister: Patsy Ann Davis and a great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Friends Cemetery in Wabash.
