Orion was someone who would make you smile as soon as he walked into the room. He always knew how to make you laugh even if you were sad. There wasn’t a single time where he didn’t say hi when passing me in the hall at school and always made sure to find me after school to say goodbye. He was truly the sweetest person and he had such a beautiful smile that I will never forget.

To all of Orion's loved ones, 
I cannot express how heartbroken I am with you all. Although I haven't seen Orion in years, I have always considered myself blessed to be his godmother and willing to step up if he ever needed it. I know he was surrounded by love during his tragically short life, and I hope it is a comfort to his family and friends that while he has been released from his earthly temple, he still feels that love and you will be reunited.  My heart goes out to you. 

Orion will stay in our hearts forever and  will never be forgotten. We loved him and he will be missed beyond words. We are so sorry  for your loss and praying for the family. May God wrap his loving arms around you and lift you up during this heartbreaking time. Love Uncle Del and Aunt Deb

Orion was one of the most caring and talented people in our class. He was always so polite, kind to everyone, and could brighten the room with his smile. He will be terribly missed. Sending love and prayers to the whole family.

My daughter, Olivia spoke so fondly of Orion. She  talked of how kind and caring he was. My heart breaks for your family.  He has made a huge impact on those around him, and he will be missed greatly.

I'm heartbroken. What a tremendous young man. I loved his perspective, his unwavering commitment to his friends and classmates, his utmost respect for what it meant to be genuine and authentic in life. I only pray that his friends and family can find some solace and peace knowing that his impact as a human being is indelible and very real. I still feel it. I still bring it with me into my classroom, that spirit of forging ahead with fervor and compassion. Orion made me a better teacher, coach, and mentor.
