William E. “Bill” Murphy, 54 of Huntington passed away at 4:26 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital. He had worked for Ness Brothers Realtors for three years. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was born on October 11, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a son of Richard and Ruth (Parker) Murphy.
Survivors include his mother: Ruth Ingle of Huntington; a sister: Cyndie (Charles) Shaw of Huntington; two brothers: Danny Murphy of Nashville, TN; Kenneth (Laura) Murphy of Huntington; a stepbrother: Greg Oliver of Monroeville; several nieces and nephews, he was a great-great uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father: Richard W. Murphy, two brothers: Richard E. Murphy, Greg W. Murphy and his stepparents: Patricia Murphy and Ross Ingle.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery, located in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, Indiana with Pastor Jim Splawn officiating.
