Mildred N Hill

MILDRED NAOMI HILL, 84, of Huntington, W.Va., widow of Charles Wilbur Hill, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at her residence. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Bill Adkins officiating. Burial will follow. She was born June 26, 1928, in Kanawha County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lon and Ada Hudson. In addition to her parents and husband, seven siblings preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, R. W. Hill; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Darrell Rogers of South Point, Ohio; a very special granddaughter, Katie Rogers; her loving poodle, Sami; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. There will be no visitation as per her request. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Salvation Army, Hospice of Huntington or the charity of one's choice. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
