David Logan Ward

David grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he graduated from Capitol Hill High School and later graduated from Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. He spent four years in the United States Air Force proudly serving his country in Texas, Georgia, Vietnam and Florida. After his honorable discharge, he spent his working years with IBM and later with GTE in the United States, Europe and South America. He eventually settled in Riverside, Texas where he spent his remaining years. David enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling internationally, working on his computer and spending time with his family. David led a simple frugal life never taking more than he needed.

He was loyal to his family and friends and he will be dearly missed by his family that survive him which include : his brother Errol Ward and wife Sue; step brother Dean Robbins; brother-in-law Lewis Dillier; nieces and nephews: Janet Jones, Ardith Dillier, Jerry Ward, Michelle Ward, Stacy Colvin and Michael Ward.

David is preceded in death by his parents David and Ardith Ward and his sister Dorothy Dillier.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
