Born in Hyannis on March 17, 1986, she was a daughter of Alice Marie (Gieselman) McNamara. In her spare time, Ashley enjoyed listening to music and visiting the beach.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sophie Marie Gieselman of Marstons Mills; her mother, Alice Marie McNamara of Marstons Mills; her father, Shane M. Orton of South Dennis; her step-father William J. McNamara of East Sandwich; a grandmother, Elise Kelley of South Yarmouth; her sister, Izabella Marie McNamara of Marstons Mills; and two brothers, Zachary Evan Orton and William J. McNamara III of Marstons Mills. Ashley was very much loved and will be deeply missed by all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins; too many to list.
Ashley was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Billy Joe and Barbara Ann Gieselman; her step-grandmother, Florence L. Gieselman; and her paternal grandfather, Edwin H. Orton, all of South Yarmouth.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, May 30th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, face masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced with a maximum of 10 people allowed in the funeral home at a time.
