Beatrice Antoinette Puchol

13 junio, 1935 – 14 noviembre, 2025
Obituario de Beatrice Antoinette Puchol
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Doane Beal & Ames

Beatrice Antoinette Del Nero Ghezzi Puchol was a glamorous force of nature with a strong love for family, a generous disposition, a deep appreciation for music and entertainment, a twinkle in her eye and an unforgettable laugh. Bea passed away peacefully at Laurentide at Mashpee Commons in Mashpee, MA on the morning of Friday, November 14, 2026. She was 90.

She leaves five loving children, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She adored them all endlessly and would do anything for any of them.

Born in Syracuse, New York on June 13, 1935, to Edward and Lena Del Nero, she graduated Eastwood High School as valedictorian. She built a family and became a devoted mother and passionate homemaker - making large, festive family meals (such as her famous “Boot of Italy”) for every birthday and holiday. She eventually moved to to Pepperell, Massachusetts with her husband Edward, but adored and remained close to her extended family and brother, Donald Del Nero in Syracuse. In Pepperell, Bea volunteered on school committees and quickly established her new home as the center of a wide circle of family, friends and kids’ friends - playing music, cooking, sewing, attending church, watching movies and waitressing at The Modern Restaurant. Later in life, she found fulfillment as a bookkeeper for Modern Dispersions in Leominster, MA with cherished friends and co-workers. Upon retirement, she and Ed moved to their long-time summer vacation spot of Cape Cod, MA. They lived in Centerville for over 25 years where she enjoyed long days on the beach (often followed by pistachio ice cream), reading, watching Family Feud and of course cooking!

She leaves a large, saddened family including sons Jeffrey Ghezzi and his wife, Astrid, David Ghezzi, Kent Puchol, Paul Puchol and his wife Kathy, and daughter Elena and her husband Hugo. Nothing made her happier then when she became a grandmother to grandchildren Tanya, Mitch, Matt, Kelsey, Connor, Kyle, Sydney, Hugh, Catherine and Charlie. Beama, as her grandchildren called her, doted on them endlessly, never missing a birthday, attending sporting and school events and as many Grandparents Days as possible. She cherished her time with them, and gave and got as many hugs as she could. She was a beloved matriarch whose wit, humor, love, and deep faith will live on endlessly through generations of her family.

Bea will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Ed, and has requested a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Beatrice Puchol to Continuum Hospice of Cape Cod, 1575 Iyannough Rd, Ste. 3, Hyannis, MA 02601, whose compassionate, personal care brought her comfort and peace in her last few months.
