Denise Marie Minichiello

Denise Marie Minichiello was born on December 13th, 1964 in Dorchester, Massachusetts to her late mother Celia Sorgman Powers. She was a loving woman with a warm, kind soul. A natural born artist, she had a skill for painting and was always creating in some way. She enjoyed music and played the flute. Anyone that knew Denise could tell you that the most important thing to her was the people in her life that she loved. She loved to cook for family and friends and spend time at Nantasket Beach and on the Cape. She was a member of Victory Chapel in Hyannis, MA and attended Cape Cod Synagogue in Barnstable, MA.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Minichiello and his wife Alicia Minichiello, Arthur Gangnon, Devan Gangnon and her fiancee Kelsie, and Michelle and her husband Damien, and her adored grandchildren Cadence, Aria, Elijah, Aurora, Delilah and Korra, as well as her Uncle Aaron Sorgman who was a loving father figure that took care of her always, her beloved friend Patty Jennings, and many loving friends. Denise was predeceased by her sister Michelle Fine, who she loved endlessly in life and death.

Denise passed suddenly at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 5:10PM from complications due to cancer. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to NIMH (The National Institute of Mental Health) for Schizophrenia research in her name. Services will be private.
