Gloria Maria Capozzi

CENTERVILLE- Gloria M. Capozzi (born Villani), passed away peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital on June 17, 2024 at the age of 91 after a brief illness. Gloria was born May 9, 1933 in E. Boston, MA to Constentino and Santina (Lumenti) Villani. Being the youngest of her family, she was predeceased by her six brothers and one sister. She loved to keep up with the younger generation and current affairs, music and reading. In her earlier years, she played cards, loved country line dancing, being a member of the Red Hat Society, as well as the Sons of Italy, shopping at thrift stores – always looking for a bargain, stopping in at the Senior Center and visiting the ladies at the Centerville Library. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Harry E. Capozzi and her son-in-law, John B. Pollock. She is survived by her son, Alan, daughter, Michele Capozzi-Pollock, and granddaughter, Giana Pollock.

A Funeral Mass will be held on July 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S. Main Street, Centerville, with burial to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
