

Helen was the wife of the late James P. Holden. She is survived by her son Robert J. Holden of Carver, formerly of Cape Cod; Thomas H. Holden and his wife Betsy of Nantucket; and Daniel R. Holden and his wife Michelle of Middleborough; her grandchildren, Tessa Holden, Kellie Holden, Marisa Holden and Daniel J. Holden; Her niece, Nancy Trafford and her nephews, David and John Arsenault. Helen was predeceased by her brother, Norman J. Arsenault and her sister, Joanne Arsenault. She also leaves behind her cherished friend, Joseph Mello.
Helen was born and raised in Gardner, daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Richard) Arsenault. She moved to Cape Cod where she lived for most of her life, until moving to Carver to be closer to her family. She was the branch manager at Security Federal Savings and Loan in Harwich, MA. She received her Bachelor's degree from UMASS Dartmouth. She will be remembered by all whose lives she touched as a kind, compassionate, giving friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family as they celebrate Helen's life with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00PM on Monday, November 18th in the Sacred Heart Church, 340 Center Street, Middleborough, MA. Burial will be private. There are no visiting hours. There will be a second mass of remembrance at Holy Trinity Church, Harwich, MA on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, time to be determined.
