Kathleen E. Stowe

Kathleen Stowe, 93, of Sagamore, MA died peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 19, 2016 at Falmouth Hospital. Born in North Smithfield, RI she lived in West Yarmouth and Sandwich before moving to Sagamore 8 years ago.

Mrs. Stowe was a nurse for many years, she worked at Mass General Hospital in Boston as well as the VA. hospital. She loved her career in nursing and was very dedicated. After her work in the hospital, she joined the special care nursing group in Hyannis and worked the 11 to 7 shift caring for the sick. She took many of her elderly patients in her home who had no family and cared for them as her own.

Mrs. Stowe loved her church, she was a member of Mid Cape Assembly of God Church in Dennisport, MA. She loved the lord was a very spiritual and compassionate person, she loved by all and will be missed by many.

Mrs. Stowe was the wife of the late Eugene Stowe owner of Stowe Printing Co. in Hyannis, MA. She was the mother of Barry S. Stowe of West Yarmouth, Wendy E. Lewandowski of Buzzards Bay Ma and the late Holly E. Stowe of Hyannis MA. She was the grandmother of seven grandchildren Joshua, Brittany, Travis, Alex, Ashley, Devin, Raven and great-grandmother of Alec.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 10am to 12noon at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home 160 W. Main St. Hyannis, MA 02601 followed by a 12noon service, Pastor Henry Perry presiding. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her beloved daughter Holly.
