Maria Kukiel Niechwiadowicz, 93, of Hyannis MA passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her home. She was born May 29,1932 in the Eastern Kresy region of Poland, the only daughter with four brothers to the late Jan Kukiel and Anastazja Gabrukowicz Kukiel.
She attended school in Valivade, India and resettled with her family in Mepal, Cambridgeshire, England in 1948. She married Michal Niechwiadowicz in London in 1952 and immigrated to the United States in 1958.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michal Niechwiadowicz and daughter Teresa Niechwiadowicz. She is survived by her children Bozena, Michael, Yvonne, Christopher and Marie.
Graveside services will be held at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA at 11am Friday, October 24, 2025.
She will be sadly missed by her family. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the VNA of Cape Cod Hospice.
