

Born on May 2, 1935 and raised in Brockton, she was the eldest daughter of the late George P. and Madeline M. (Cannon) Kelley. She graduated from Brockton High School and worked for the Telephone Company before moving to Easton with her beloved husband Bobby. After raising their children she worked for Southeastern Regional Technical High School, first in the cafeteria then in the District Office.
Nancy was an accomplished pianist, organist, accompanist and vocalist sharing her talents with churches and community groups in the area. She loved gospel and bluegrass music and travelled to attend festivals all over New England. She was an avid card player and loved crocheting and knitting. She warmed the feet of those she dearly loved with her beautiful hand-knitted socks. Her truest earthly joy were her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Paula F. Greiner and her husband Scott of Dennis Port, Pamela F. Sargent and Steven Sargent of Easton, Deborah A. Elmes and her husband Alan of Blairsville, Georgia, and her son, Michael E. Coleman of Wareham, her grandchildren Anna Sargent and her fiancé Eric Peterson of Brockton, Abigail Sargent of Brockton, Alison Sargent of Easton, A.J. and Maxie Elmes of Rangeley, Maine, Jarrod and Shelby (Elmes) Julian of Island Lake , Illinois, Jaclyn Coleman of New Bedford and Benjamin Coleman of Savannah, Georgia, her great granddaughter Madelyn Elmes of Rangeley, Maine, her sister Elizabeth M. (Kelley) Leach of Orleans and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Nancy’s funeral on Friday, February 28, 2025 from Doane, Beal and Ames, 160 W Main St., Hyannis. Her funeral service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Cape Cod, 2391 Iyannough Rd., Barnstable, MA. at 11 am followed by interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. at 1:15 pm.
