Penelope Tayntor Green

She will be deeply missed by her four children, Randy Green, Chip Green (with Tom Murphy), Tim Green (with Janet Green) and Molly Green; her grandchildren, Alan Green (with Katey Green) and Sarah Edwards (with Cody Edwards); her great grandson, Casey Carson Edwards; her loving Sister, Sarah Novak, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter-in-law, Patty Carson Green, her parents, Hal and Betty Tayntor, and her Brother, Charles “Boogie” Tayntor.

Born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut, Penny raised her family in Berlin, Connecticut. She modeled for GFox. Attended Moreland Hill School who called her 'our own Grace Kelly'. She attended 'finishing school' in Laussanne, Switzerland.

Pen eloped with Alan Green in 1958. She enjoyed Craigville Beach, Lake Wequaquet, Lake Mashapaug, hot air balloons and shooting the moon. She loved birding with Sandy in the Seventies. While being 'mother of the year' to her four kids, Penny worked as a greeter at GMAC in Glastonbury for over 25 years, achieving her well deserved retirement on Cape Cod. How lucky were all who knew her?

Penny endured and survived so much with a happy, positive attitude. She always put others first. She loved and was loved so very much.
