

Robert J. Kinsella, Jr., of Centerville, MA (formerly of Newton, MA), beloved husband of Barbara J. (Mosher) Kinsella for 58 years, died on July 10 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. A devoted husband and father, Robert will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Loree Linnehan of Centerville, MA, son, Robert Kinsella of Manchester, NH, son, Brian Kinsella and wife Susannah of Newton, MA, and daughter Jacqueline Duffy and husband Steven of Sudbury, MA.
Affectionately known as “Bampi,” Robert is also survived by nine adoring grandchildren, Katlyn Linnehan (27) Garrett Linnehan (24) Andrew Kinsella (17) , Meghan Duffy (16), Matthew Kinsella (15), Ryan Duffy (14), Alison Kinsella (13), Timothy Duffy (11), and Robert Kinsella (6).
Robert’s wife and family find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his daughter Suzanne, who passed away in 1971.
Robert was born in Wellesley, MA on June 16, 1931 to Robert J. Kinsella and Dorothy (Wegerdt) Kinsella. He grew up in West Newton, Massachusetts with seven brothers and sisters: the late Irene Clinton of Norfolk, VA who was married to the late John Clinton, Richard Kinsella of Lincoln, CA who is married to Marion Hoffman, the late Dorothy Kinsella of Newton, MA, David Kinsella of Billerica, MA who was married to the late Beatrice Kinsella, Patricia Knox of Chesapeake, VA who is married to Richard Knox, Frederick Kinsella of Derry, NH who is married to Margaret Kinsella, Deborah Flanagan of Natick, MA who was married to the late Brian Flanagan.
Robert was also a brother-in-law to Warren and Phyllis Mosher of Nova Scotia, Canada, Pamela Mosher and Kevin Burgess of Natick, MA, and Debra and Michael Dangelo of Centerville, MA.
A 1948 graduate of Newton High School, Robert was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean War. Later, he attended Northeastern University and then worked for the New England Telephone Company for 35 years. He volunteered for Newton Athletic Association and coached in Newton West Little League for over 25 years.
Robert was a quiet unassuming man who loved is family dearly.
