Robert W Skoczulek

Robert w. Skoczulek, of Hyannis passed on Sept. 23rd. Born in New Bedford he was the son of Mary and Walter Skoczulek of New Bedford. Robert was a graduate of Suffolk University Law School. He had practiced law in California for a number of years and was employed with the Massachusetts Highway Department for 14 years as an attorney and had retired in August. Robert was also a real estate broker for the Cape Cod area. He was a member of the Army reserves during the Vietnam War. He was the husband of Virginia Poirier Skoczulek and proud father of David Skoczulek of Vernon, Ct., Jason Skoczuleyk if Mission Viejo, Ca., Michael Skoczulek of Mission Veijo, Ca, Todd Skoczulek of Mission Veijo, Ca and Christopher Poirier step-son of Southington Ct; grandfather of Sydney Skoczulek and Devin Poirier. Robert loved traveling, especially weekend getaways, bike riding, going to the gym and spending quiet time in the yard taking care of all the beautiful flowers and shrubs he had planted throughout the years. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 26th at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home 160 West Main St. Hyannis from 4-6pm followed by a Service at 6pm. A Comittal Service will be held the Walnut Grove Cemetery Elm St North Brookfield, Ma Thursday Sept 27th at 1pm. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association
