Monday mornings in a commercial kitchen are challenging ... Roy always added a refreshing, light-heartedness flashing his trademark toothy, mischievous smile. He's a man who will be missed!

In the nearly 40 years it has been my pleasure of knowing Roy, his steadfast quiet sense of humor, and warm friendship have always been resolute attributes of his character. Always to be counted on as a true friend who maintained his loyalty no matter what the issues. People like Roy are not in abundant supply in the world, so memories of him are to be treasured.

My sincere condolences to the entire Chase family. I loved seeing all the photos of Roy and his family especially the pics of him in his Ancients uniform. My Dad Ray Crimmins was in the Ancients with Roy. I was a waitress at the Captains Chair for many years and Gayle and I became good friends. His passing has brought back so many good memories. Much love , Kathie Crimmins Cronin

I delivered Meals on Wheels to Roy several times. He was one of my favorites...always friendly and engaged! I loved the world map he had on his wall with all the places he had traveled to marked with a push pin. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

To the Chase family. My sincere condolences on the loss of Roy. I fondly remember your family first next door then out on Greenwood Avenue. Lots of fun times with the neighborhood kids on various holidays cemented a great friendship with the Blanchards, Chases and McHughs. Your family will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers as Roy and Gayle are joyfully together forever again. Paul & Kathy Blanchard.
