Stella Margaret Quinn

January 13, 1939 - March 28, 2017

Hyannis, MA

Born in Newton, MA Stella is predeceased by her parents, James and Catherine McLaughlin; her sisters Betty McLaughlin & Jean Warner; her brother James (Sonny) McLaughlin as well as her daughter Amie Hinson-Quinn. Stella is lovingly remembered by her sister Kathy Farrell; brother Paul McLaughlin; her children Daniel P. Quinn, Catherine (Katie) Quinn, Michael Quinn and daughter in-law Alicia Quinn. Stella was a loving grandmother to Emmilynne, Jeffrey, Anna and Ryan Quinn as well as her great grandchildren Declan; Haley and Shane Quinn.

Stella was an avid gardener, and late afternoon beach goer who loved being outdoors as well as antiquing from one end of the Cape to the other. Many moons ago as she would say, she delighted in traveling and taking part in the annual Figawi race. She had an insatiable appetite for Scallops and "Fish n' Chips" from Baxter's Boat House. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching the sunset over the waters of Cape Cod.

Stella had been an active member at both Our Lady of Victory and later at St. Francis Xavier.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, Hyannis.

Memorial Service to be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 9:30AM at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral home 160 West Main Street Hyannis, followed by a Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Hyannis.
