

Osterville, MA - Thomas F. Condon, 86 of Osterville, MA passed away October 15 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary (Barry), his seven children and their families; Philip G. and his wife Peg of Wellesley, Thomas J. and his wife Deborah of Dorchester, Joanne Cross and her husband Gary of Ostervlle, Robert G. and his wife Laura of Norton, William J. and his wife Lisa of Melrose, Marianne Whelan and her husband Kenneth of Cheshire, CT, and Anthony J. and his wife Waike of Burlington. He was the loving grandfather of Joshua, Leah, Justine, Drew, Grant, Taylor, Lindsey, Audrey, Sarah, Sally, Natalie, Scott, Alex, Sam, Abigail, Maria, Brent, Eva, Victoria, and Rebekah; and proud great-grandfather of Jonah, Ezrah, Eli, Micah and Esther. He is predeceased by his two brothers George and William, and sister Anne E. Nichols.
Tom was born in Roxbury in 1925 to the late George J. and Bridget (Keenan) Condon and lived in Mission Hill, graduating from Mission High School in 1944. He is a veteran of World War II having served in the South Pacific in the US Navy. He is also a graduate of Bentley College, Waltham, MA. In 1949 he married the love of his life, Mary Barry, also of Mission Hill and moved to Milton in 1964. After retiring in 1986 he moved to Cape Cod, traveled often with Mary and enjoyed spending time with his extensive family.Visting hours will be held at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home 160 West Main Street Hyannis on Wednesday October 17th from 3-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 18th at Our Lady of Victory Church 230 S. Main St Centerville at 10am. Burial to follow at St Francis Cemetery with Military Honors.
