Timmie Nips Rico Mark Barrows Sr.

Above all, Timmie loved spending time with family and friends; his contagious laugh and free spirit brought joy to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His six children, many brothers and sisters and grandchildren were the light of his life.

Timmie is predeceased by his mother Mary Mendes Barrows; father Rico Gonsalves; brothers Robert Mendes and Johnnie Mendes. Timmie is survived by his six children; Timmie Barrows, Jr., Shacara Barrows, Brianna Zeigler, Juliano Dumas, Charlotte Barrows and Gianna Barrows and two grandchildren, Tayden Barrows and Jeremy Brito, Jr. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Raymond Mendes, Terry Acevedo, Mary Smith, Linda Henderson, Roland Mendes, Anthony Mendes, Rowena Golay, Manual Mendes, Frankie Mendes, Dana Mendes Stevie Mendes, Tracy Mendes, David Mendes and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 4:00-7:00pm at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home at 160 W. Main Street in Hyannis. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 25 at 10:00 am followed by a burial at Beechwood Cemetery in Centerville, MA.
