From a very young age, Adriana was drawn to creativity and self-expression. She began dancing hula at age three and spent much of her childhood and teenage years performing with her family in Reflections of Polynesia, sharing her culture and the spirit of aloha with audiences. She later graduated from William Chrisman High School, where she immersed herself in theater, choir, and competitive drama. Adriana continued her education at Utah Valley University, earning honor roll recognition while pursuing studies in film and family studies—an intentional reflection of her love for visual storytelling and deep belief in people, relationships, and family.
As an aspiring actress and creative, Adriana brought her dreams to life through meaningful work both on and off the screen. She appeared in projects including Disney’s Noelle, HBO’s Watchmen, The Book of Mormon videos, and several independent films. She was equally passionate about working behind the camera and developed a love for photography, most recently working as a newborn photographer—helping families to memorialize some of life’s most sacred moments. Adriana was known for her gentle spirit, infectious warmth, quirky humor, and sincere kindness. Above all, she cherished her family and the connections she built with others.
Adriana is survived by her parents, Henry and Diana Tonga, and her brothers and their families, Daniel (Mindi) and Michael (Carmen) Tonga. She will be remembered always for her creativity, compassion, and the light she so freely shared.
