Barbara Ann Roberts

Barbara was born on August 26, 1956, in Purdy, MO., to Burley Coin and Imogene (Sims) Coin and grew up in Independence, MO.

She graduated from Truman High School in 1975. Barbara worked at Cracker Barrell for more than 25 years at the Independence location. After she retired, she dedicated herself to take care of her mother.

She is preceded in death by her father, Burley, brothers, Tony and Burley Jr., and granddaughter, Haylee Preator.

She is survived by her mother, Imogene, brother, Danny (Angie) Coin, sister, Debbie, daughters, Brandy (Danny) Preator and Georgia (Mike) Schutz, grandchildren Bradly and Cody Preator and Gabriella and Drew Schutz, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and so many friends.

Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence, MO 64050. Visitation from 6pm-7pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7pm.

As we celebrate a life well lived, the family requests wearing Barbara's favorite color, blue, anything Chiefs, or anything Harley Davidson, in her honor.
