Edna L Smith, age 91, of Kansas City, passed away Jan. 22, 2018. Visitation Service, 10am, Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, Funeral Service 11:00am. All services at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel. Burial in Mt Washington.
Edna was born May 10, 1926 in St Joseph, MO to Harold and Edith (Gumming) Ashlock. She was raised and educated in St. Joseph.
She moved to Kansas City where she worked for many years as a cook and waitress in the food industry. Edna worked for several businesses.
She is survived by; Daughters; Judy Baltimore, Carol and husband Jack Evans. Sons; Darrell Hontz, David Smith. Sister; Irma Brown. Brother; Roger Ashlock. Many grandchildren, gr grandchildren.
