Frenchie was born December 9,1947 and was raised in Northeast Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army during 1967 and 1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Frenchie was preceded in death by his parents, George F. Darnell and Mary E. Darnell.
Frenchie is survived by 2 sons, Danny Darnell and Michael Darnell, a brother Mike Darnell and his wife Ida, grandson Anthony Darnell, and granddaughter Mya Marie Darnell, and a list of family and friends.
A visitation for Frenchie will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Rd, Independence, Missouri 64050. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the chapel. With a committal service with military honors to follow at Mt Washington Cemetery, 614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, Missouri 64053.
