Georgia Alton Allgrunn

Funeral service will be held at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel in Independence, MO on April 30, 2025. Visitation will start at 12:00pm, funeral service will start at 1:00pm. Burial following service at Mount Washington Cemetery in Independence, MO.

Georgia was born August 11, 1934 to Ben and Edith Alton in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from WIlliam Chrisman in 1952. Attended Park College and Central Missouri State College. Her pleasures in life were her children and family, Bible Study, her flowers, oil painting and dancing.

Georgia is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert (Bob) Allgrunn. Her parents, Ben and Edith Alton. Brother, Ben Alton Jr. Sisters, Lee Fisher, Kay Thomas, Joy Harvey, Jeanne Pease, and Nancy Cantrell.

She is survived by her son James (Jim) Allgrunn and wife Mary of Blue Springs, MO. Her daughter Terri Gant and husband Rodger of Osceola, MO. Grandchildren Brent Slover and wife Missy. Branden Slover and fiance Caitlin Vaughn. Many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Georgia had Alzheimer's in the last few years of her life. We are forever grateful to the care provided by Heartland Hospice and Ignite St. Mary's in Blue Springs, MO.

Georgia was a born again Christian and is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
