Visitation will be held Friday, March 18 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer's Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Rd., Independence MO 64050. Funeral services immediately after at 11:00 AM. Internment at Mount Washington Cemetery.
Helen is survived by 2 daughters, Evah Swanigan of Independence MO and Ronda Burris of Sugar Creek MO; 3 grandchildren, Vanessa Swanigan of Oak Grove MO, Hayley Swanigan of Independence MO and
Dusten Swanigan of North Kansas City MO; 3 great grandchildren, Joanna Arias, Anthony Ruiz and Asher Olmsted; 4 step daughters, Gloria (Mike) Mitchem, Pat (Don) Sparks, Paula Craner and Cathy (Craig) Kamphefner; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Dorothy Rains of Sugar Creek MO and Murlie Branscum of McRae AR.
She was proceeded in death by both her husbands, LeRoy Burris and Paul Martinez; her parents,
Emmett Savage and Versie Gilstrap, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
