Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, John Martin and Rae Jeanette Hedrick along with her beloved husband of 44 years, Marvin Roy Kern and her son, Michael Roy Kern.
She leaves her sisters, Karan Cross and Kristy (Mark) Paddy, along with her grandchildren, Derek (Tara Thomas) Kern, Darci (Scott) Agee and Kyndall Kern, great grandchildren Londyn and Greyson Kern and daughter in law Denise Kern.
Kathy was employed by Business Men’s Assurance Company in 1966 as an Executive Assistant for various senior officers and finally, by MetLife, who Kathy was grateful to Martin J. Fuller for accepting her as his Executive Assistant.
