He was born on February 1, 1952, in Red Wing, MN to Harold and Joyce Hinrichs.
After graduating in 1970 he moved to Kansas City where he worked at Ford Motor Co. He was passionate about cars, particularly Henry J's and the rare 1954 Kaiser-Darrin. A hippie at heart in his bibs, he gardened, love his cats, fish, birds, KC Sports, car racing and car auctions, and the blues.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna, sons Greg (Libby) and Joel, grandson, Wiliam, siblings, Nancy (Jerry) Barth and Dan (Brenda) Hinrichs, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 30th at Buckner Town Hall, 32 S. Sibley St., Bucker, MO, 64016 from 1-5pm, and Saturday, April 12th from 4-7 pm at the American Legion, 218 W. Fourth Street, Red Wing, MN.
