.Lois V (Sally) Kabrick, age 88, of Independence, passed away April 11, 2017. Visitation, Thursday, April 13, 2017, 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Service 10:30am, Friday, April 14, 2017. Services all at Newcomers Noland Road Chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Lois was born November 2, 1928 in Sugar Creek, Mo. to Kenneth W, Sr., and Katherine (Farrand) Kleihauer. She lived her entire life in the Independence area.
She married Thomas T. Kabrick December 31, 1945, in Olathe, Ks. He passed away 1996.
From this union two sons, Tommy E. and Timothy M. While raising her family, she worked as a cashier then checker/trainer for Kroger.
In her later years, she enjoyed playing golf, socializing with her old sorority organization and friends and making new friends at the Groves.
Preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Jerry, Kenneth, Jr., Sister Joyce.
Lois is survived by; Tommy (Margaret) Kabrick, Timothy (Debby) Kabrick. Seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 gr gr grandchildren. Sister in law, Margaret Kleihauer.
Donations may be made in Lois's name to Crossroads Hospice.
