Patrick Dale Casey

Patrick Dale Casey, age 74, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Pat was born on September 30, 1948, in Kansas City, Kansas, second of 10 children. He resided around the Kansas City area most of his life, with the exception of his years of service in the Navy. He served 4 years and did a Mediterranean tour on the USS Roosevelt. On his return to the States, he finished his bachelor’s degree in business. He worked over 40 years at Union-Camp as a shipping Supervisor. He also owned a small business in Deep Water, Missouri. He was a great fan of the KC Chiefs and liked to gather with friends and family. Pat was a hardworking man. He bought and lovingly remodeled his childhood home.

Pat was preceded in death by his father and mother Dale and Mary Casey, brother Dennis Casey, sister Mary Howerton. He leaves behind his children, Jennifer (Todd) Reedy and Steven Casey. Grandchildren Elizabeth (Zach) Zurbrick, Morgan (Jeremy) King, Brett Casey, and Kinsley Casey. Great grandchildren Charlotte Zurbrick and Baylor King. His siblings, Rose (Jerry) Barger, Cindy (Jaudon) White, Joy (Gary) Froning, Mike (Donna) Casey, Gary Casey, Dan Casey, and Shawn Casey. Pat will be missed by his family and friends.

Services for Patrick will be held at Newcomer's noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO 64050. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with Memorial Service beginning at 2:00pm. Graveside service with full military honors will occur at a later date, in Mound Grove Cemetery, 1818 N. River Blvd., Independence, Missouri.
