Blaine William Coghill

He was born on December 1, 1956 to Bill and Sylvia Coghill. Blaine married the love of his life Sherry Coghill in 1976. He worked on the family dairy, Vinoridge Farms and drove school bus for 45 years.

Known for his love of family and friends, Blaine was always wearing a grin and cracking jokes. He loved a good game of cards and anything that involved spending time with the people he loved.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Coghill; children: Melanie (Korey), Melissa (Trevor), Jeremy (Jessica), Michaela (Glen) and Jason (Michelle); 13 grandchildren; his siblings: Debbie (Dennis), Laura (Mel), Kevin (Denise) and Robert (Heather).

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Sylvia Coghill and siblings: Maureen, Carmen and William.

The family would like to thank the McLean First Responders who worked so hard to try and keep Blaine alive, as well as the several nurses and doctors in the Regina General Hospital Emergency and the Cardiac Care Unit.

A public visitation will take place in the McLean Community Centre, McLean Saskatchewan on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 12:30 – 12:50 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Jo Mader officiating. A private family interment will take place.
