Donald Ian It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Don Spencer, Indian Head, SK and formerly of McLean, Sask. Dad passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 with family by his side at the age of 84. The Funeral Service will be held in McLean Community Centre on Tuesday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. Rev Joyce Hilton officiating. Interment in the McLean Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Dad was predeceased by his wife, Bernie Spencer (nee Klein), daughter Aline, his parents, Robert and Mabel, a brother Alex, sister-in-law Phyllis Dielschneider and brothers-in-law Alex Klein, Gordon Oates and Joe Stauber. He is survived by his children, Jim (Marie) Longpre, Chetwynd, BC, Maurice Longpre, McLean, SK, Roland Longpre, Red Cliff, AB, Leona (Bruce) Baun, Pilot Butte, SK, Cyril Longpre, McLean, SK. Rodney Spencer, McLean, SK. and Sherry Langston, McLean, SK; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one sister, Roberta (Dennis) Paddington, Qu'Appelle, SK, two brothers-in-law Larry (Cheryl) Klein, Craven, SK., Gene (Gloria) Dielschneider of Kitimat, BC and sisters-in-law, Deli Klein, Medicine Hat, AB, Amanda Oates, Rita (Joe) Solie, Terry (Ralph) Solie and Orie Stauber all of Regina, SK.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
